Documentation, reimagined

For many engineers, documentation is a chore not because writing is a chore, or because thinking about technical problems and solutions is a chore, but because organising the documentation so that others can benefit from it is an unsolved problem. The best workaround to this problem currently is getting alignment among every engineer working on a project on how to write and where, and introducing a very-hard-to-enforce process.

If "requiring a large group of people to perform the same action consistently" was a strategy that worked, then COVID-19 would have remained in 2019 and global warming would only exist in a mediocre science fiction novel. Helping enforce uniformity is what computers are good at, and for some reason nobody has thought of doing this to documentation yet.

Until now.
